To get the regular trash can back, simply take the package out of your download folder (I would advise you to make a special 'default' folder, so you can better find the package again). They come in two versions, clean and dirty, just make sure you only install one of them.
Fulfilling the request on Simsecret (Secrets Post #250), I made a default replacement for the community trash cans using the Sims 3 'Late Night' trash cans.
